A great Spring day for cracking a few eggs and making some pancakes - a favourite recipe - 150ml buttermilk, 4 eggs, 600ml milk, knob melted butter mixed into 600gram flour.
Fave topping (for breakfast particularly) blueberries, honey and greek yogurt…

Almost Spring

Well almost Spring seems a good time to begin a fresh new blog, so much more to write about as the dastardly Winter starts to wane - so here it is… Linen and Clay's blog!

And why not start with a touch of early (overtly-forced) Spring - a few days ago I snipped off a branch from our apricot tree, barely there buds tightly screwed up against the inclement weather and look the warmth of the house kick started it's unfurling - beautiful and delicate with quite an exotic scent and a rather nice reminder of what's to come…
